Khali Ackford
Bristol-based Ackford is a member of photography collective Ko Lab. Ackford has photographed live music at the city’s venues such as Trinity and the Thekla. The experience of capturing large crowds has equipped him with the skills to picture demonstrations, such as the Black Lives Matter marches in Bristol in summer 2020. Ackford recorded socially distanced commemorative rallies for George Floyd, and the fall of the Colston statue on 7th June that year.
